He played Gordie Lachance in Stand By Me, but Wil Wheaton actually found immense success with portraying the character Wesley Crusher on Star Trek: The Next Generation. However, his character was actually not a likable one and fans ended up not liking Wheaton either.
He did act in Sharknado 2: The Second One and also appeared in The Big Bang Theory as Sheldon Cooper’s antagonist-turned-friend. He sure has a long way to go with his career. Time will tell what is to come of this talented man. We just hope he has retirement planning on the cards, in case he doesn’t hit it big in the meantime!
