Wayne Gretzky’s Thousand Oaks mansion has had quite a journey leading it to the expansive estate that is now his again. The hockey legend sold his property to former New York Mets center-fielder, Lenny Dykstra, in 2007. According to the LA Times, the property got auctioned off in 2010 for roughly $760,000 due to financial difficulties.
In 2017, Gretzky bought his six-bed, eight-bath Sherwood Country Club community compound back for $13.5 million. With 12,000 square feet of interior space boasting a magnificent view of the Santa Monica Mountains from the terrace, it’s an estate fit for one of the greatest sportsmen ever.
