Jane Withers – Bel Air, $4.5 Million
You probably recognize Jane Withers as the child star with Shirley Temple in the 1934 movie Bright Eyes. Two years later, her parents bought this house, including the furniture and two lots, for $37K. Although some updates were made, some of the details and features of the abode were retained.
The two-level house spans 6,800 square feet and boasts five bedrooms and seven bathrooms. Now 95, Withers has understandably turned her back into acting at the turn of the millennium. She was last heard in The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2: The Secret of the Bell (2002) and House of Mouse (2001).
