Bob Newhart – Bel Air, $14.5 Million
For $14.5 million, the lucky buyer purchased Bob Newhart’s French Country-style Bel Air property in 2016. This was after the listing had been on and off the market for three years, first putting it up for grabs in 2013 for $15.5 million.
The 1941 house, which the comedian bought in 1990 for $4.2 million, is located at the posh East Gate section and spans over 9,000 sq ft. It has five bedrooms and six bathrooms and boasts a remodeled kitchen and a cabana. Newhart, 91, remains active in the industry, appearing as Professor Proton in the TV series Young Sheldon.
