Richard Dean Anderson was a huge star in the ’80s. He was the star of MacGyver which started filming in 1987 and ended in 1992. It was hugely successful and was about a secret agent – MacGyver – who was had a vast scientific knowledge and could fix anything. It won 4 Emmy Awards and was nominated for more. This is the series that made Richard Dean Anderson a public figure and he will always be remembered for this role. His house uses natural materials with an alfresco feel with lots of wood and brings the outdoors indoors. It is two stories high and sits on a gentle slope.
