With the DNA results finally shedding light on everything, Dr. Greene couldn’t help but ask Mrs. Thompson if she knew how Lola ended up with two litters from two different dads. She sighed and smiled sheepishly. Apparently, during one of Lola’s heat cycles, she had a little unplanned adventure.
Mrs. Thompson thought Lola had only met one male that night, but clearly, Lola had been busier than anyone expected. It all made sense now. That one wild night had led to a two-in-one litter. No one would have guessed it if not for how different Miracle and Destiny were from their siblings.
