Charlie Brooks and Rebekah Brooks – 11 Years
Appointed as the chief executive of News UK in September 2015, Rebekah Brooks rose through the ranks of journalism after starting as a writer in 1989. In June 2009, she married former racehorse trainer and author Charlie Brooks in a lakeside ceremony. The two now share a daughter, Scarlett.
In 2011, the two were embroiled in a phone-hacking case, for which Rebekah was arrested and subsequently trailed. In June 2014, the couple felt vindicated when they were found not guilty of the charges levied against them. Charlie recently authored his children’s book The Super Secret Diary of Holly Hopkinson.
