Connie Booth and John Lahr – 21 Years
The fans of the BBC sitcom Fawlty Towers certainly remember the American-born actress Connie Booth. Also known for her work in the Monty Python movies, Booth retired from show business in 1999. Previously, she was married to one of her co-stars, the actor/comedian John Cleese, for roughly a decade.
One year after stepping out of the spotlight, Booth married her current husband, the theatre critic John Lahr. The two have been an item since 2000 and live together in west London. After quitting acting, Booth became a psychotherapist, not long after completing a five-year degree at London University.
