Born to the late John Osteen, who founded the Lakewood Church, and Dolores Pilgrim, Joel Olsteen joined the family business after he graduated from Oral Roberts University where he studied communications and established the Lakewood TV program. He is currently the senior pastor at the Lakewood Church with his wife Victoria serving as a co-pastor.
Also an author, Osteen has published several bestselling books including his 2020 release titled “The Abundance Mind-Set: Success Starts Here.” He has graced several documentaries including “Word of Arr” and he voiced Casper in the 2017 animated Christian film “The Star.” He is worth a reported $100 million.
