One Diver’s Unexpected Encounter With a Dolphin Turned Into a Life-Changing Moment

A Feeling of Deja Vu

Rob removed the plastic from the blowhole. The blowhole is a vital part of a dolphin’s anatomy, the same way nostrils are to humans. Dolphins are mammals which means they breathe air and have lungs. The blowhole helps them do that.

Despite helping the dolphin, there was something that was still bothering him about the dolphin. There was something familiar about it. A light bulb went off in his head and he got it, this was the dolphin he had saved from death a year ago. The dolphin was stuck in a fishing net, and despite his training telling him to avoid interactions, Rob went with his instinct and helped cut the animal loose.
