Steve Martin is another celebrity who takes his art seriously, and his collection is nothing short of exquisite. He developed an interest in art when he was young, and at the age of 21, he bought his first piece. It was a James Gale Tyler piece dating back to the 19th century.
He now has masterpieces from artists like Georges Seurat, Francis Bacon, Roy Lichtenstein, and Cindy Sherman. He’s tried his hand at different curating roles over the years, and he explained that he eventually decided to simply collect the pieces that truly piqued his interest.
