Ricky Carmichael’s motocross career lasted for almost a quarter for a century, and given that he started racing at five, he settled into retirement around his 28th birthday. He splurged on a lakeside retreat in Tallahassee and decorated it with tangible memories.
The lower level functioned as Carmichael’s man cave with a full bar, pool table, and fireplace. The walls were furnished with memorabilia documenting his achievements in the sport, and one wall, in particular, was adorned with framed magazine covers he graced in the past. In 2015, Carmichael listed the Florida abode for $6.2 million.
