John Wayne rose to fame in Hollywood during the late ’30s thanks to the performance he had in the movie Stagecoach. He enjoyed an amazing career for at least three decades. But sadly, he passed away in 1979 due to stomach cancer. When he was still alive, he lived in a beautiful estate in Newport Beach, California. Exactly how much he bought the place is undisclosed, but it was put on the market at $3.95 million after his passing.
