Billy Connolly – New York City, $4.75 Million
Billy Connolly was said to have moved to New York for accessibility purposes since, at the time, he was filming The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies. But because he struggled with Parkinson’s disease, he reportedly wanted to lead a quiet life on the west coast.
As such, he put his New York abode at 105 Fifth Avenue up for grabs for $4.75 million in 2016. The three-bedroom apartment is bright and breezy, thanks to the floor-to-ceiling windows sprinkled across the open floor area. Connolly and wife Pamela Stephenson bought the loft on the 10th floor for $4 million in 2007.
