Many could stand to take a leaf or two out of Mariesa and Chris’ book by mirroring their stance on fostering. After all, it is one of the many ways to help a dog in need and a good option for pet lovers who aren’t quite ready to make a lifelong commitment. Fostering simply means creating a safe space for homeless dogs.
It also includes providing them with love, affection, and socialization until the next phase of their lives—when someone indicates interest in adopting said dog. So the couple consoled themselves with the knowledge that they would only be temporary caretakers.
